Miltenberg is located in the administrative district of Lower Franconia. The city below the Miltenburg was first mentioned 1237. From 1379 limited two city towers the Old Town. The panorama shows the Wuerzburger gate tower on the eastern edge of Miltenberg. Originally the tower had a gun platform with battlements, because this city side was most at risk. At the beginning of the 15th century the tower was roofed.
