Randonnée au sommet du Mont Sutton
Province du Quebec

A panoramic view from Round Top

Part of the Appalachian Mountains, the Round Top (or Sommet Rond in French) is the highest point on Mount Sutton range and is the home for one of the biggest ski resorts near Montreal, which is about an hour drive from here.

The US is right on the other side of the valley and on a clear day we can see the highest points of tree states: Jay Peak in Vermont, Mt. Marcy in New York and Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.

It's spring and there is very little snow now but a total of 6.6 meters (+21 ft) over the summit were reported by the end of this season!
