Obernburg is a town in the Lower Franconian district of Miltenberg. It is about halfway between Miltenberg and Aschaffenburg. Once, Obernburg had three gate towers. Only the Upper Gate in the Roman road has been preserved in its original form. The slate-covered tower with the saddled roof was built in 1586.
