Oume plum park is one of the largest park of plum flowers in the Kanto area. We can enjoy red, pink and white pkum flowers with a good smell. Traditionally, Plum flowers are the symbol of the end of cold winter in Japan. This year, it has been very cold days until the middle of March, so we at last see the flowers in the end of March. Anyway many people came here to see the flowers.

Tama area is the name of the western part of Tokyo Metropolis. It consists of 26 cities, 3 towns and a village. A lot of people (about 4 milion) live in a eastern half part of the area.
