L'îLET SAINTE MARIE

Ancien port, situé face au bourg qui est rattaché à la plage par une curieuse bande de sable appelée Tombolo. Le Tombolo est un mot d'origine italienne désigne une flèche sableuse qui relie généralement un îlot à la terre ferme.Le tombolo de Sainte-Marie résulte de l'action des facteurs hydrodynamiques marins.
