Tarr Steps River Bank Somerset England Uk
England

This prehistoric Clapper Bridge crosses the river Barle which flows across Exmoor. The term Clapper bridge comes from the term for a pile of stones and also, allegedly, from the noise of ponies when crossing the bridges! For more details see Wikipedia.
