Villa Aloni is situated in Maza, a small village in the Kruonerida municipality, in the region of Apokoronas in the county of Chania, in Western Crete.Maza is a small village in the foothills of the mountains, with about 100 permanent inhabitants. The village is about 37 km from the town of Chania, 35km from Rethymno and about 40 km from Chania airpor.

The History of Crete, the Southest piece of land of Europe continent, encompasses the ancient Minoan civilization.
