Schloss Vollrads- Innenhof
Vollrads Castle is located in the Hessian Rheingau about two kilometers away from the Rhine River at an elevation of 160 meters. The landmark of the castle is the massive tower house. The building was erected on Roman foundations and is surrounded by a picturesque pond. Since the 14th century, Vollrads Castle was the residence of the family Greiffenclau. Today Vollrads Castle counts as one of the oldest vineyards in the world. The trade in wine is documented since the year 1211.

Between the time of the Nordic old ones and that of modern Frankfort there may have been a T.Rex or two on the scene. At least some mastodons for sure came through for lunch, then fell into tar pits to become fossils for us to find.
And there we must leave you, O my most pure and holy children.
