Winterhausen lies in Lower Franconia, in the region Mainfranken, district Wuerzburg. The panorama shows the town hall square, the church hill with church, the cantor and City Hall. To the offices leads a staircase. The half-timbered building behind it was built in 1510 as a schoolhouse. From here a stone staircase leads up to the church hill.
