Zeil am Main is a town in the Lower Franconian district Hassberge. Sights include the market square with the old half-timbered houses, the medieval city fortification with the city tower and the pilgrimage church "Zeiler Käppele" on the mountain Kapellenberg. At the present location of the Sanctuary a smaller chapel was already in 1250 as part of a castle. On May 14, 1894, the current pilgrimage chapel was built in the style of neo-Romanesque with nave and towers.
