Quelle Wikipedia: The Schleswig-Holstein Open-Air Museum (open-air museum Molfsee) is located in the district of the municipality Rammsee Molfsee near Kiel, and is the largest open air museum in northern Germany. It was opened in 1965. Since 1961, led by the art historian Alfred Kamphausen to establish the museum. He remained until 1978, its director. On display will be here on 60 acres total for the Schleswig-Holstein historic landscapes divided over 70 reconstructed buildings that allow the interpretation of local history. Ancient breeds of domestic animals from the animal park Arche Warder inhabit barns and pastures. Embedded in meadows, ponds and gardens give this unit a real impression of the then working and living.

Between the time of the Nordic old ones and that of modern Frankfort there may have been a T.Rex or two on the scene. At least some mastodons for sure came through for lunch, then fell into tar pits to become fossils for us to find.
