Panama: Casco Viejo a World Heritage close to the Panama Canal. Lots of interesting an colorful buildings, nice restaurants and a 1600-feeling when walking around. Very picturesque workshops, houses and inhabitants.
Originally The Prison of Chiriquí Point.
Presently occupied by the French Square (1922) and Las Bovedas “The Vaults”.
The white building was originally the Judicial Palace 1930 and now holds office of The National Institute of Culture.
Also used for the filming of the James Bond movie: Quantum of Solace (2008).
The passage above the wall is now known as the General Esteban Huertas Promenade (1944).
