An der Börse - Georgsstraße 02

Mahnmal am Opernplatz für die aus Hannover deportierten jüdischen Bürger

Die Georgstraße erstreckt sich vom Steintor bis zum Aegidientorplatz. Die westliche Hälfte zwischen Steintor und Kröpcke ist Fußgängerzone und Haupteinkaufsstraße in der hannoverschen Innenstadt, die andere Hälfte ist elegante Flaniermeile mit dem Opernhaus Hannover, Varietees wie das GOP und Edelgeschäften.

Im Abschnitt zwischen Opernhaus und Georgsplatz auf einer ausgedehnten Grünfläche finden sich Denkmale von Louis Stromeyer, Karl Karmarsch und Heinrich Marschner.
