This virtual tour is taken next to the Archivo de Indias, which holds many valuable documents illustrating the history of the Spanish empire, and has in its view Seville's most famous cathedral, the Catedral de Sevilla. The Cathedral's construction started in 1402, but, it wasn't completed until over a century later, in 1506. It is the largest Gothic structure in the world and the third largest cathedral in the world.
Seville is the cultural, financial and artistic centre of Andelucia in southern Spain. Seville is also the capital of the provence of Andelucia and the third largest city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona with the population of the metropolitan area being 1.4 million.
