This shot was taken from the road above the beach park near the town of Atuona, Hiva Oa.  There are some kids surfing in the water below.  Atuona is the main town in Hiva Oa and is a port of entry for sailors entering from the Americas.  Tahina was located in Taahuku Bay which is where the road comes from going away from town.
