En el casco antiguo de Colonia del Sacramento el visitante se sorprenderá con autos antiguos que en lugar de convertirse en chatarra vieja y olvidada, sirven para darle un toque especial al lugar. Ahora albergan flores.
Son ideas que generan interés visual y estético en los turistas, que no pueden pasar desapercibidos por la curiosidad de mirar dentro del auto. El casco antiguo de Colonia del Sacramento hasta hace unos años estaba en total abandono, pero en 1968 empezó la reconstrucción, que culminó en 1972. La Unesco nombró este casco antiguo como Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 1995.
Ha sido protagonista de importantes películas, gracias a la fusión de la arquitectura española y portuguesa. Definitivamente, Colonia del Sacramento, un paseo muy interesante, a pocas horas en buque bus, desde Buenos Aires y a dos horas de Montevideo, en bus.
