The Bahamas National Stadium is a new addition to the Bahamas with construction being completed in 2011. It is expected to be commissioned in 2012. With much fanfare and excitement, Bahamians are waiting to take advantage of the new facilities. The Bahamas currently ranks in the top 10 in the world for highest amount of medaled athletes in the olympic games per capita. It is expected that the stadium will allow the Bahamas to push the boundry even further.
