The mountain Belchen with a height of 1414 metres offers one of the best panoramic views in the Black Forest.

Surrounded by a nature reserve, the 3rd highest mountain in the Black Forest is an attraction for nature loving hikers, skiers and mountain bikers.
Views to the west cover the Rhine valley, France and Alsace with the Vosges, views to the south reach to the Swiss Jura region, other peaks of the Black Forest are to the north and north-east, to the east are Black Forest ranges with the Austrian Vorarlberg in the background.
