Bethesda Arcade Minton Tile Ceiling
Central Park
Just south of the Bethesda fountains in Central Park is an arcade whose ceiling is literally a work of art. Built in the mid-1860's, the design was by Jacob Wrey Mould, while the tiles were manufactured by the Minton Company of Stoke-on-Trent, England.
