Wallfahrtskirche St. Johann Baptist

Eine Wallfahrtskirche auf dem Bussen wird erstmals im Jahre 805 erwähnt. Die jetzige Kirche stammt aus dem Jahr 1516. Das heutige Erscheinungsbild ist das Ergebnis von Restaurierungsarbeiten aus den Jahren 1960  bis 1963.

Wallfahrten zur Verehrung der schmerzhaften  Muttergottes sind auf dem Bussen seit 1521 bezeugt. Seit den 1950er Jahren ist der Bussen Ziel der großen Männer- und Familienwallfahrt am Pfingstmontag.

Germany? Before the beginning there was Ginnungagap, an empty space of nothingness, filled with pure creative power.
