CANYON COMBEIMA Combeima Canyon is located on the eastern side of the Cordillera Central between 1400 and 4200 m . The journey to the canyon is 18 km , starting from the Plaza de Bolivar, in the center of Ibague, to the village of Juntas , along the banks of the river Combeima . The latter has about 50 waterfalls and other smaller sources in the narrow valleys and steep banks up to 90 degrees, that expose large rock walls having pure Canyon , presenting a wonderful landscape tourist region . Influenced by the borders of the Natural Nevados National Park and the high Andean forests that remain , the Canyon is considered a strategic ecosystem of the city. South America makes up the southern half of the Americas and a large part of Latin America.
