Caminerias Parque del Este

El Parque del Este (oficialmente conocido como el Parque Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda en honor al procér venezolano del mismo nombre) es un parque de esparcimiento público. Ubicado en el Municipio Sucre del Área Metropolitana de Caracas en Venezuela, es uno de los mas importantes de la ciudad con un total de 82 hectáreas (equivalentes a 0,82 km²) de superficie. Su inauguración se produjo bajo el gobierno del Presidente Rómulo Betancourt en enero de 1961 y fue diseñado por el paisajista y arquitecto brasileño Roberto Burle Marx. El parque se encuentra justo a la salida de la estación Miranda (anteriormente llamada Parque del Este)de la Línea 1 del Metro de Caracas.

South America makes up the southern half of the Americas and a large part of Latin America. It's home to the world's longest mountain range, biggest waterfall and largest river -- even these mammoths pale in comparison to the stunning variety of life forms thriving in the rainforest.
