It is the main relic of the orthodox world in Latvia. The cathedral is of great importance for the country, here repeatedly there were events of the state scale, to presence of our president. For the last years there were two great events: we have found sacred John Pommera's hallows and we were visited by the Tsarina Heavenly — the Tikhvin icon of Divine Mother. At this time in a temple there were miracles — people recovered from heavy illnesses.
