Cathedral of Porto, Nave
Portugal

The Sé do Porto is a building of Roman-Gothic structure, from the 19th century. XII and XIII, having undergone major remodeling in the Baroque period (17th-18th centuries). The interior still retains the aspect of a fortress church, with battlements. The sharp verticalism of the central nave, marked by thick fasciculated pillars, with vaults and arches already slightly pointed, translates into a sober stature. The entire monument underwent major restoration works during the 1930s.
