Cerro de Monserrate Santuario de los Colombianos en Bogota

At 3,152 meters hight in top of a hill at Bogota (Colombia's capital city), lies the "Cerro de Monserrate", the main symbol of Colombia's main city, whose sanctuary has been visited by millions of people since 1640 when it was founded. Since 1657 thousands of religious people go up every year to this sanctuary, either by foot or by cable railway or funicular, in order to pray or thank God or just to take a better look at the city's landscape.
