Church of Sant Esteve and Cal Manseta. Guimerà (Lleida. Spain)
Church of Sant Esteve and Cal Manseta. If we go down Calle de la Capilla, we find this building (Cal Manseta) dating back to the 15th-16th century with a Gothic-Renaissance façade that corresponds to the old hospital of Cal Manseta. It is worth noting the balconies and the large windows of great harmony and architectural beauty. We find the Chapel of Sant Esteve next to Cal Manseta, also known as the Church of Sant Esteve. The building is from the s. XIV and was the annexed chapel of the hospital, renovated and enlarged in the eighteenth century, and restored in 1983, when the reproductions of two gothic tables by the famous painter Ramon de Mur came from the parochial church.
