COLOMBIA - Ciudad Perdida / Lost City 9

Tourists are contemplating the view to the terraces of the Lost City from the highest terrace, deep in the forested mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, in northern Colombia. This archaeological site, built by the Tayrona people around 800 CE, has become a major attraction in the country, and is reached at the end of a 4-day trek across the jungle. This was shot on a sunny morning in April.
