Limestone Pavement near Conistone in the Yorkshire Dales.

These fantastic patterns look like miniaturised mountain ranges and gorges from another land. They are caused by the reaction of rain upon limestone, which acts upon the weaknesses of the rocks. The deep crack are a habitat to many species of flora.
