這座新建的大溪橋是仿造日治時代原大溪古吊橋的外觀重建，長330公尺，橋面寬7公尺，13支橋墩支撐，兩端橋頭另加興建二座很高的牌樓，而橋身二側則是灰白色的仿造大溪老街牌坊的巴洛克式雕花，兩邊皆可看到石門水庫與淡水觀音山的景致。有許多遊客們會在此橋上拍照留影，而從橋邊走進崁津便道經過大溪公園就可以直達大溪老街。不論是夜裡與白天的大溪橋都非常的美麗，特別在夜晚燈光下的綴照或遇節慶時點放的煙火，其雕塑藝術更顯得浪漫綺麗。
