Auf einem der Cowper (Winderhitzer) von Hochofen 6 befindet sich in 45 m Höhe eine Aussichtsplattform, von der man einen großartigen Blick über die Hochofengruppe der Hütte hat. Alle 6 Hochöfen sind über eine 240 m lange Gichtbühne in einer Höhe von 27 m verbunden. Über eine Hängebahnanlage erfolgte die Beschickung der Hochöfen u.a mit Koks, Sinter und Erz.
