Don Alvaro is a Spanish municipality, belonging to the province of Badajoz (region of Extremadura). It is located on the right bank of the River, halfway between Las Vegas High and Low of that river. Belongs to the region of Tierra de Mérida - Vegas Low and the Guadiana judicial party of Merida. While maintaining an agricultural tradition, this is no longer the most important activity of the municipality, whose main business has become the service sector, due to the proximity of the city of Merida.
