Early Byzantine church ruins near Asparuhovo, Varna

Recently excavated Early Byzantine church ruins in the Borovets area near the Asparuhovo quarter in Varna, Bulgaria. The chuch was build in the early 6th century and existed for about a 100 years. It was probably deserted during the Slavic invasions of the early 7th century.
