Flamingo Beach is part of the Ninety Mile Beach, 250 kilometres south-east of Melbourne in the Gippsland region. The 151 kilometres long sandy beach is between Port Albert and Lakes Entrance along a sand bar separating the Gippsland Lakes and Bass Strait.
