Floating bridge
Dominican Republic
The floating bridge was built as a temporary alternative to connect the Port Avenue and Avenue Spain on the east bank of the Ozama River. Even still there and may be maintained given its role in the relief of traffic in that area of the capital.

The Dominican Republic is a nation on the island of Hispaniola, part of the Greater Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean region. The western third of the island is occupied by the nation of Haiti, making Hispaniola one of two Caribbean islands, along with Saint Martin, that are shared by two countries.
