Fontan Square The name 'El Fontán' means in Oviedo : a fountain, a street, a square, a marketplace and a whole borough. It was built on the place where once an unhealthy marsh was. The square was completely rebuilt in the 90's, and caused quite a stir as this was, and still remains, one of the favourite places of the citizens.
