Frauenkirche Günzburg

Das Wahrzeichen im Herzen der Großen Kreisstadt .

Erbaut von Dominikus Zimmermann Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts ( 1736 ) und ist die Vorgängerin der bekannten Wieskirche, Steingaden die ebenfalls von Dominikus Zimmermann erbaut wurde und zum UNESCO Welterbe zählt.

Zwischen 1998 und 2002 wurde die Günzburger Frauenkirche innen und außen mit einem Kostenaufwand von ca. 5,5 Mio. € aufwendig restauriert.
