Die Chor-Ensemble-Orgel
Ein besonderes Instrument ist auch die Chor-Ensemble-Orgel in der Marktkirche. Aus zweierlei Gründen: die Aufstellung im Raum und das klangliche Konzept.
Erbaut wurde das Instrument 2007/08 von Orgelbau Hermann Eule (Bautzen); es wurde am 16. Februar 2008 eingeweiht.
Der Standort ist an den beiden Seitenwänden auf der Sängerempore mit einer Gehäusetiefe von jeweils nur 95cm, der Spieltisch steht mittig auf der Empore.
Die Aufgaben des Instrumentes: Chor- und Orchesterbegleitung bei Kantaten und konzertanter Chormusik, Zusammenspiel mit Solisten und Bläserchören.
