Hotel El Prado en Barranquilla - Fachada

El Hotel El Prado en Barranquilla fue construido en 1930, como el primer hotel de la ciudad. Tiene una arquitectura republicana neoclásica, con amplios espacios, terrazas y jardines tropicales.

El Hotel El Prado es patrimonio arquitectónico de interés cultural y monumento nacional. Para febrero, el hotel se viste de carnaval, para recibir a los visitantes que viajan a "La Arenosa" a disfrutar el Carnaval de Barranquilla, uno de los más grandes de Colombia.

South America makes up the southern half of the Americas and a large part of Latin America. It's home to the world's longest mountain range, biggest waterfall and largest river -- even these mammoths pale in comparison to the stunning variety of life forms thriving in the rainforest.
