В ботаническом саду Яро­славского педуниверситета  открыли памятник хоккеистам «Локомотива», погибшим 7 сентября 2011 года под Туношной. 17 спортсменов были питомцами (а некоторые ещё студентами) факультета физической культуры этого вуза.
