In memory of Blut

Blut, you joined the club in '85. In those days we loved to kick against society whenever we could. In that field you were number one. You were a party animal who could make us laugh our asses off and you were a succesfull womaniser.
You owned and built a Harley at a very young age but foremost you were a guy with leader qualities. You knew exactly what you wanted clubwise and managed to convince other members to share your views. You were a member who was always present and expected others to be there as well.

In memory of Schweik
Schweik you joined the club in 1979. You were a true Rogue built many choppers and did a lot of miles on them. You were an adventurer a lover of the good life. Always seeking for the best. Schweik, both you and your wife Edith did what other only could dream about. Things like traveling around in the US on a Harley selling christmastrees in California to save up for gas. Most people liked to see you come, you were always willing to help them to get rid of their beer stash and never short of a good story to tell.
Traveling was one or your greatest passions, you went all over the world and visited many bike clubs. Your other big passion was drag racing. You became Dutch champion all by yourself
You were never afraid to start a new adventure you just did it and solved the problems along the way.
Schweik your optimism and outlook on life made you into some one who will not soon be forgotten you will stay in our harts and memories for ever.

Europe is generally agreed to be the birthplace of western culture, including such legendary innovations as the democratic nation-state, football and tomato sauce.
The word Europe comes from the Greek goddess Europa, who was kidnapped by Zeus and plunked down on the island of Crete. Europa gradually changed from referring to mainland Greece until it extended finally to include Norway and Russia.
Don't be confused that Europe is called a continent without looking like an island, the way the other continents do. It's okay. The Ural mountains have steadily been there to divide Europe from Asia for the last 250 million years. Russia technically inhabits "Eurasia".
Europe is presently uniting into one political and economic zone with a common currency called the Euro. The European Union originated in 1993 and is now composed of 27 member states. Its headquarters is in Brussels, Belgium.
Do not confuse the EU with the Council of Europe, which has 47 member states and dates to 1949. These two bodies share the same flag, national anthem, and mission of integrating Europe. The headquarters of the Council are located in Strasbourg, France, and it is most famous for its European Court of Human Rights.
In spite of these two bodies, there is still no single Constitution or set of laws applying to all the countries of Europe. Debate rages over the role of the EU in regards to national sovereignty. As of January 2009, the Lisbon Treaty is the closest thing to a European Constitution, yet it has not been approved by all the EU states.
