Bergamo: St Egidio Abbey - Abbazia di Sant'Egidio in Fontanella

The Fontanella Abbey is a small yet fascinating church estabilished in 11th century by Cluny Monks. The clean architecture is typical of the romanesque style in Bergamo area, also represented by other religious buildings like the Chapel of San Tomé and the Church of St Giorgio.
