Jabberwock Beach Antigua Caribbean
Antigua
Taken on Jabberwock Beach in Antigua on Shoal Bay. This beach is on the Northern side of the island and so the sea can be a little rougher than other beaches, but it's still a great beach and is popular with the locals on bank holidays.

More About Antigua

Antigua is an island in the West Indies in the Caribbean.  It is part of the Leeward Islands region and is the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda.  The island offers 365 beaches, one for each day of the year and has plenty to offer for holidaymakers.  The capital is St Johns in the North of the island has a deep harbour where cruise ships can dock, making it a popular stop. The currency for the island is Eastern Caribbean Dollars, however you will find that most tourist spots will accept US dollars as well. Antigua & Barbuda enjoys a tropical climate throughout the year, cooled by trade winds and south-easterly sea breezes. Typically drier than a lot of the other Caribbean islands, temperatures range between 23 degrees Celsius (74 degrees Fahrenheit) and 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), although there can be exceptions (as with all countries). The hottest time of the year is between May and November, and annual rainfall is approximately 45 inches. The hurricane season generally runs from June until September.
