The Kampenwand mountain is one of the most popular excursions in Chiemgau. Only a few kilometers south of lake Chiemsee, take exit Frasdorf of Autobahn A8 Munich–Salzburg. Take the cable car from the valley station in Aschau to the 1500-meter-high mountain station.
Only 200 meters away you reach easily the SonnenAlm and have a fantastic panorama patio.
Be aware of the cows, not all of them are friendly ;-)
