Castle and Gardens in Karlsruhe, Germany
Karlsruhe

The palace garden was created under Margrave Karl Wilhelm by Christian Thran gardener from 1731 to 1746 in the French baroque style. His successor, Grand Duke Karl Friedrich left areas of the garden by the gardener and Muller Saul and eventually transform from 1787 through the Garden of England appointed inspector Friedrich Schweickardt after English models. On the occasion of the Federal Garden Show 1967, replaced the palace garden in the style of an English landscape park and developed. Sculptures from the Baroque to the Modern, monuments, fountains from various periods and the large lake animate and accentuate the green space.
