Kells Round Tower - Kells, County Meath

The tower is located on the grounds of St Columba's church and was built in the 10th century as part of the early Kells monastery. The Book of Kells was kept there during the later medieval and early modern periods and is now housed at Trinity College in Dublin.

Four of the town's five high crosses are also located here.
