Here is a place straight out of a cowboy movie. It's in that part of Cuba that they say "the revolution never arrived". You can read more about it in Wikipedia, or how it got burned down in 1912 from the New York Times.

North America includes Mexico, the United States, Canada, and Gotham City.The region temporarily existed as a Protectorate of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Norton I, with its capital being the city of San Francisco.
