Campos do Jordao received this Sunday, September 18, the competition Mantiqueira Challenge Mountain Bike.
In its tenth edition, the evidence gathered in the mountains almost 500 cyclists from around the country who competed in 31 categories.
The race was also part of the 1st SRAM Mountain Bike World Cup, which includes three steps: 50K SRAM, 60K SRAM -
Mastering the Mountains, and 70K SRAM - Mantiqueira Challenge, where did the grand final.
Participants were able to ride challenging trails in Campos do Jordao and enjoy the beautiful mountains of the Sierra, on several tracks and dirt roads.
The proof required a lot of technique and endurance athletes, who filled the Capivari in the tourist town of Campos do Jordao, during the start.
The winner in the category Elite Women was Adriana Nascimento, and the Male Elite Aroeira Thiago took the trophy for first place.

My city is one of the highest in the country, is in the hills of Serra da Mantiqueira with altitude until 2.000m above sea line. We have another attractions like a State Park with an area of 83km2 preserved with wonderful rain florester and animals, recreation centers, natural landscapes with sports activities such as tree climbing, rock climbing, hangglider, paraglider, mountain biking, hiking and more...
The city of Campos do Jordao is famous for being a destination of charm in winter, it is called the Brazilian Swiss, many rich people have the winter home here. Living here is a little more expensive than in a big city.
