It's a ledge. It's on Newport's Cliffwalk near the north end as I recall. Don't let the fact that I don't have much to say about it dull your enthusiasm. If you've ever hopped from rock to rock along New England's seacoast ... and enjoyed it ... then you have to add the cliffwalk to your list of rock hopping adventures.
