Lighthouse at camping Kovacine
Cres Island

The red lighthouse stands at the tip of peninsula, where the camping Kovacine (island of Cres) is located. The peninsula creates a narrow entry to the gulf of the town of Cres, thus giving a natural shelter for numerous boats.

More About Cres Island

The island of Cres can be reached from Brestova via the ferry to Porozina. Ferries operate regularly and frequently during the summer season, but there is often a long waiting because of the many tourists visiting the island.
