The ferry on the Tsiribihina to Belo is the only way to get to the Tsingy by car. Sometimes you have to wait for some hours to get the ferry, because it is just going when it´s full.
The ferry consists of two boats with a wooden platform over it. There are two types of ferry. A big one for 6-8 cars or 1 truck and a little one for 4 cars.
This panorama was taken on the little one. We had luck and the operator made an exception and went with only one car.

In June 2001 the African Union was formed, consisting of 53 African States organized, like in the EU, around common economic and political development.
